Connecting Claude, step by step
In Kolinea, open your settings, “AI assistant” page, choose Claude and copy the server address.
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, then “Add custom connector”, and paste that address.
Sign in to Kolinea when Claude asks you to, then click “Allow”.
Claude reads your folders as you read them
To talk to Claude about a folder, you used to copy what it holds into Claude, then copy its answer back into Kolinea. Once Claude is connected, it reads your folders itself: their threads, including your team’s internal notes, their documents, their participants, your directory and your templates.
It reads exactly what you read, no more and no less. It works in the workspace you point it to, and sees no folder you are not part of. When you ask it what to do first, it relies on the Cockpit: threatened milestones, then your actions in order.
It prepares, you publish
What Claude prepares for a client waits in the folder’s planned publications, marked as prepared by your assistant. It gives you the publication’s link, which opens it ready to review. You correct it if needed, then publish it from Kolinea, or dismiss it.
Some actions only concern your team: an internal note, a participant added without being notified, a folder opened or duplicated. Claude does them straight away. A contact added to a folder only receives their link when you invite them, or when you publish something they can see.
A connection in your name, which you keep in hand
The connection gives Claude your rights in Kolinea, no more. The audit log keeps what it did, as “Claire Martin (via her assistant)”, with your own name. You revoke it at any time from the “AI assistant” page, where it is listed with the date it was last used.
Kolinea adds no AI of its own. The content Claude reads only goes to Anthropic, the provider you chose: choose it as you would any tool you trust with your clients’ exchanges. What the assistant reads and prepares is detailed on the AI assistant page.
What the integration does not do
Claude publishes nothing to your participants, follows up with no one, invites no one and sends no e-mail: a team member publishes from Kolinea.
It uploads no document, creates no contact in your directory, and deletes, closes or reopens no folder.
Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan.
The AI assistant is part of the Premium plan: on the Free plan, Kolinea refuses the connection, and deletes nothing.
A connection unused for 90 days switches off, and none lasts more than 180 days: you then connect Claude again.

Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan, which Kolinea does not manage. On Kolinea’s side, the AI assistant is part of the Premium plan, and every new workspace gets 2 months of Premium free, with no credit card.
No. It prepares publications, and only a team member publishes them from Kolinea. Until then, the client does not know they exist.
It connects too. The “AI assistant” page gives you the command to run in your terminal; in Claude Code, you type /mcp, choose Kolinea, then sign in.
Anthropic, which provides Claude, under its terms and on your responsibility. Kolinea runs no artificial intelligence model and has no AI sub-processor.
From your settings, “AI assistant” page: you revoke the connection, and Claude loses its access immediately.
