They open the link sent to them by email and, on a device they have never used before, enter a one-time code received by email. The device is then recognised, and they enter nothing on their next visit.
You refuse it with a reason, which is mandatory. Refused files stay visible, struck through, and the document goes back to “to provide”: your client reads the reason and redoes only that one.
As soon as the request is completed, meaning every document has been accepted, or as soon as it is cancelled or the folder is closed. A request with no due date triggers no reminder.
