# Your storage, and clearing out closed folders when you decide

> Each workspace has storage according to its plan. Your clients can still upload when it is full, and you free up closed folders’ space whenever you choose.

## What storage counts

A workspace’s storage is the files of all its folders, closed ones included, and those of its templates. The Free plan includes 500 MB, Premium 20 GB. The “Storage” page of the workspace settings shows where you stand, and the dashboard warns you as you get close to the limit.

## Your clients are never blocked

When storage is full, it is your own uploads that stop: publications, answers, voice notes, templates. The documents your clients and other participants upload always go through. They do not need to know where you stand, and an expected document is never refused for that reason.

## Cleaning up, when you decide

Kolinea never deletes a folder’s files on its own. If you need room, the “Storage” page lists your closed folders that still hold files, heaviest first. “Delete the files” empties a closed folder of its files, after confirmation. From the folder itself, the same action offers to download the export just before. The deletion runs in the background, even for thousands of files: the page shows it is under way, then how much room it freed.

The thread stays, and each file leaves its trace in it: its name, who had sent it, who deleted it and when. Only the folder’s lead and the workspace’s supervisors can do it, and only on a closed folder: nothing changes in a folder still in progress.
